Being close to the central station was useful, but we found the extra charges for services like the kitchen and lockers really inconvenient. The lockers especially should be free for guests. The shared areas and floor were dirty and poorly kept, and the showers weren’t clean either. We had towels in our bedroom, and the beds were okay, but that didn’t make up for the rest. The curtains were too small for the windows and didn’t block the light. Cleaning was around 11 a.m., the same time as checkout, so taking a shower wasn’t really an option.

I felt welcome from the moment I arrived, and the receptionist was so warm and understanding. She made sure my late arrival went smoothly and helped me feel safe traveling alone. The atmosphere was what made the place special, too. I met a kind, welcoming guy from Chile in the common area, and we chatted for hours. His friendly energy made the hostel feel like a cozy home. The reception’s common area was the one nice spot, a place where you could relax. The rest of the hostel felt like a very bad vibe, with people sitting out front smoking all day. There were a lot of Hindi people there, and I don’t think they were tourists. The window blinds were broken, and management doesn’t seem to care about fixing anything.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. My room was humid and mouldy, both windows were broken, and there were dirty tissues on the floor. The AC wasn’t just broken, it was shattered. I’d rather not get into the state of the bedsheets, but my friend found semen and blood on his bed. The whole building needs a renovation. Terrible.
