Apartment Tánička - Chopok Juh, Tále

We had a lovely few days in a peaceful, beautiful setting, and I definitely recommend Apartment Tánička. It was clean throughout, and the owner let us check in an hour early by arrangement. The apartment is in a gated building reached by a ramp, with parking and a place to store and dry ski gear. Inside, it's fully equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and wine cellar. There’s a living and dining area, a separate bedroom, and another room with bunk beds, enough space for a family of four or five. The main drawback was the rather worn mattresses, and some furniture could use minor maintenance. We also had a small issue with the bathroom radiator. It seemed a previous Polish group had damaged it and covered that up until they left. The owner handled it right away without any trouble, and it didn't affect our stay. For skiing, the location gives you several resorts to choose from. Tale and Mýto pod Ďumbierom are the closest, and Chopok is roughly 15-20 km to the south. The wellness area at the Bystrá hotel was fine. Three hours cost €30 per person, and booking a time is a good idea. Kuria restaurant is about a five-minute walk away. I wasn't impressed with the food for those prices, though I'll review the wellness and restaurant separately. Best regards, Martin 😉
