We stayed for a few nights over New Year, and the staff were so sweet and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the location worked really well for us. I loved our stay and hope we can come back. I gave it five stars for doing what we needed, not because it's a five-star hotel.

Hotel Roháč has plenty to choose from without even stepping outside, including a pizzeria, a restaurant and a casino. The prices seem fair for the quality, and the range of options made for a great experience. Its location is well known around Trstená and the surrounding area. For tourists and visitors, it should be a go-to, as it often offers more than you'd expect.

There’s plenty for the family to do nearby, from summer hikes in the mountains to lakeside sports and skiing in winter, without needing to travel far. The hotel itself is lovely, with good food, friendly staff and a warm welcome. It’s in the charming little town of Trstina, close to all amenities.

The setting is nice, and the food tasted good. I had cabbage soup followed by dumplings with sheep cheese and sour milk. The waitress was very kind and spoke English.

The pizzas, Halusky, garlic soup and krep are all delicious. For me, it’s the best restaurant in Trstená. The waiters are normally very kind too. :)
