The food and surroundings were lovely, and breakfast was great. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and both were excellent. The room was a different story. We got room number 1, which was nice enough, but a wooden staircase right beside it meant footsteps every five minutes. It felt like people were stomping on our heads. Reception was right outside our door. When we raised the issue, the only response was, "Next time, choose a different room." We booked through booking and couldn't choose a room, so that answer felt amateurish. For us, the food was the only positive part of staying at this guesthouse.

The food was excellent, though service took a while because we arrived at lunchtime and every table was occupied. Ordering was easy with the code at each counter: you could order, call a waiter, pick a payment method and set the tringelt amount, then see your account balance straight away. 10☆
