After hiking all day, we arrived tired and were told I couldn’t stay in the dorm with my dog, even though I’d called ahead and been told it was no problem. Instead, I had to pay 45 Euro rather than 24 for a private room. The person there didn’t care that a colleague had given me wrong information. That’s no way to treat customers. I left.

They let me check in early and gave me a free locker and towel. The hostel was clean and cute, with comfortable, spacious common areas, and it’s in a great location. I really enjoyed staying here. I only wish the bathroom door handle had been fixed 😅

Vladimir at reception and as manager was engaging and helpful. He made me breakfast on three days, and it was super. He’s a real asset to the hostel. The dorm bed was comfortable with good storage, and the bright bathroom and shower were well maintained. The kitchen had all the cooking basics I needed. It’s a well-run hostel, handy for the central area and old town square. I hope to stay again.

They’re environmentally aware here, sorting trash and offering food for free instead of throwing it away. I also left my book behind, and the staff were very helpful and found it for me. This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful, it’s very central, and the friendly staff are always willing to help. All that for a more than reasonable price. I’d really recommend staying here. All the best wishes from me!
