Downtown Bratislava B&B

I found plenty to eat nearby, with a supermarket across the road and a few shops in the underpass. Breakfast came with the room and was served at Petit Hotel. It was good and easy, and getting back to the station was simple too: cross toward the Presidential Palace area and catch bus 93. The room and bathroom were both a decent size. I liked the skylight, and the free toiletries were a nice extra. The shower had steady hot water and good pressure, though its small head couldn’t be tilted down. Having extra towels helped. There was a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The bed felt a little springy, but I slept comfortably. The area was mostly quiet, with some noise now and then from people coming back late. Getting there from the airport worked well. Bus 61 takes about 30 minutes to the main station, then bus 93, which costs €1, goes to Hodžovo námestie, just a minute’s walk from the hotel. A 1-hour ticket is handy for transferring at the station. Check-in at Petit Hotel was quick and straightforward. I paid the city tax and got my key without a problem. My room was on the third floor, and the wooden stairs can be a bit of a trip hazard. I’d stay here again.
