The staff were warm and welcoming, which helped make the stay pleasant. The hotel feels a little dated, though still comfortable. My main frustration was the bathroom: the glass door and toilet door bump into each other, and opening either one made me worry the glass might crack. I also saw stains or dirt buildup on a few chairs and built-in furnishings. Getting into town is manageable. You can walk there for shops, restaurants, and nightlife on a nice day, or take a quick Uber for about $5. The hotel is around 40 minutes from Vienna International Airport (VIE). I took an Uber from there and got where I needed to go, though some drivers may give you a hard time, so be patient. Breakfast is a buffet with good food, and you can order from the kitchen too. I especially liked the Belgian waffles. The shower and tub controls are buttons. A refresh and a few design fixes would improve the place, but the service was good and I had a decent stay.

The New Year's Eve buffet had plenty to eat and drink, with entertainment and a DJ. The concierge took care of our car and bags, and check-in was easy. Staff were friendly, attentive, and spoke several languages. It's a great luxury hotel, close enough to walk to the old town, with a nice path along the Danube. The shower takes a little getting used to, with electric on/off and temperature controls, but everything else was good.

I loved staying here and would like to come back soon. Andrea and Lucia from the sales team were especially supportive, and everyone on the team was lovely. The property and service are wonderful, the rooms feel elegant and comfortable, and there's a beautiful river view. The spa facilities and meeting space are fantastic.

The rates felt very reasonable, and I had a great five-day stay. Reka at the front desk made me feel welcome, and the restaurant was fast with really good food.

The room was fairly large and clean, but the bath controls were difficult to figure out. I can't recommend this hotel at £175 a night when there's no kettle, and the spa and pool cost another £35. I regret spending my hard-earned money on what they call luxury. Budget travelers should stay away. The food is freshly made, with fresh salmon on the menu. I'd recommend it to wealthy travelers.
