Apartment Riverside - River View

Lily, the owner, was sweet and welcoming, and took time to point out a few city highlights. The place is spacious and works fine for kids. We had clean, well-kept bathrooms, fresh towels and bedding, plus a well-equipped, fairly new kitchen. There's also a washing machine, TV, wifi, and an elevator, handy with several people and suitcases. The apartment is central enough that we didn't need a car, and Old Town Square is about a 10 minute walk away. You can get to the Danube by going down the stairs and crossing the street, with a nice walk along the river. One bathroom door sticks and is hard to open, so don't lock it. We stayed at the end of July and it was getting warm; August would probably be hotter. Fans weren't enough, and portable a/c's would help. Opening the windows brings evening noise since it's on a main street.

The view is lovely, but the service was very poor. The doors were broken and couldn't be locked, and there was no soap or handkerchief. It's a small place for the price, given that level of service. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

It's a very simple apartment in a good spot, and was reasonably clean.

The staff were nice, and the accommodation was very good and well located. Thanks so much, I'm already looking forward to coming back. 😊
