Hotel Avion

Convenient if you need to stay near the airport before heading home, which is just 2 km away. The huge Avion Shopping Park is literally across the road, with a regular bus stop two minutes' walk from the hotel.

The room was unacceptable. The bed was extremely hard and barely usable, and there were no towels. Before that, our first impression was poor, and the woman at the front desk was rude from the start. We politely asked to see the room briefly before deciding because we already had a bad feeling about the hotel. She initially refused, then agreed, but hurried us and wouldn't even give us a minute to look. My partner and I stepped outside for two minutes to discuss whether to stay. She reacted aggressively and said we'd still have to pay if we chose not to. We agreed to stay for one night, but a few minutes later got an urgent call that our 13-month-old daughter had a high fever and needed to go to the hospital. We immediately told the front desk and asked to cancel and get a refund. The staff member became very aggressive and refused to return our money. Booking refunded only the taxes and parking fees. Showing no understanding or compassion in an emergency like this was shocking. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was mold everywhere, a long dark hair under the pillow, and disgusting pubic hairs in the bathroom. Dust inside the bed seems like it could be from the Soviet times, and the sheets were ripped. Anyone with a dust allergy should never come here.

Some people in our group were initially given rooms without beds. The sheets weren't clean, the floors were sticky, and it felt like you could fall through the floorboards if you stepped in the wrong place. Mold is everywhere, and in some spots it smells like something is rotting; the whole place smells of cigarette smoke. There's one bright side, at least the bedbugs were friendly. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.
