Fatrapark 2 Apartments & Restaurant

At this price, I expected much better rooms. The bedroom and hallway smelled bad, and the bathroom was worse. The room didn’t feel clean enough. It’s also ridiculous that the spa costs extra: using the jacuzzi for an hour is 30 euros.

The staff were nice, and we had a pleasant day here. The place is close to the mountains, with the chairlifts only a few minutes’ walk away, which is handy for skiing. The rent is cheap, so it’s good value for a short stay. The rooms are large and comfortable, though some kitchens were missing basics like plates, glasses, and knives. We were on the fourth floor, where the corridor at the far end had no lights. It was strange having to put the key in the lock in complete darkness.

The place looks pretty, which makes this disappointing. There was no staff on site, and they tried to put us in a really bad room even though we’d booked a suite. I’m still waiting for the refund after four days. The apartment manager only speaks Slovak, which isn’t enough for a place like this. Any other apartment house nearby would be a better choice.

If you game or need a reliable internet connection, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The speed was 8 Mbps during the day, but dropped to 0.70 Mbps at night.
