The beds were comfortable, but pretty nasty, and the balcony and stairs to the room didn’t seem structurally safe. We also had water leaking through the roof, which looked like it had only been roughly covered with paint. The shower curtain didn’t work, and there weren’t enough towels. The metaphysical experience itself was great, and we met some metaphysically interesting people on the balcony, to say the least. From the pictures below, we couldn’t tell who the little statue was supposed to portray. I think it might have been some kind of communist revolutionary.

I spent two nights here and left glad I’d experienced this colourful little world. It’s very quiet despite being right next to the main railway station. The place does feel more like a hostel, as several other reviews say, and the hot water is really only warm. Surfaces you’d want to touch were clean, though there were grubby little corners and crevices. Come if you’re curious or want to try something different.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfy, and the lobby is filled with artworks. I paid less than €40 a night for one person, so I think this hotel is underrated and great value. The staff were all friendly, especially Carolina, who told me about her favourite gelato place, not Arthur. I’d recommend walking or even running uphill toward Koliba, a green neighbourhood with gorgeous views that leads to lush forest.

My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. It’s a beautiful place with a unique experience, especially for artistic people. The owner was really kind and helpful.
