The food was high quality, though the service could be better. At Italian restaurants, main courses usually come with bread, or at least someone asks if you’d like some. I finished with coffee and dessert, but the dessert arrived quite a while later.

The menu is huge, and it’s unusual to find mussels and other seafood around Bratislava. I loved the truffle ravioli, the incredible pizza bread, and the tiramisu was heavenly. The octopus salad had excellent olives and very good cheese, though the octopus itself was only average. The pizza tasted good and came with generous toppings, but I prefer a thinner crust, so I wouldn’t order it again, even though we enjoyed it. Service was a little odd, but nothing too serious. Our main courses came at different times, and staff tried to clear unfinished drinks and plates without asking.

Everything tasted authentic and was more than perfect. You can watch the pizza being prepared and baked, since that part of the kitchen is right in the main dining area. The staff were professional, with a good sense of humor too.

The atmosphere is so relaxed it almost feels lazy, yet the service is fast, efficient, and always smiling. The owner is from Napoli, and you can taste that homemade goodness in every dish. The head chef and pizza chef clearly know their craft and put love into it. It’s one of the best authentic Italian restaurants I’ve tried in Slovakia, maybe the best. Seafood lovers especially should give it a go. Nothing went wrong for me, just a fantastic experience. Come see for yourself!

The pizza was good, but I kept comparing it with my favorite Italian place right next door, De mario e nicola, which in my opinion has the best pizza in Slovakia. I had the diavola and my girlfriend got the prisciutto funghi with extra hot peppers, but neither pizza was hot, not even slightly. Both knives were blunt, so eating felt like playing the violin. We also ordered tea, and one of the spoons had lipstick on it. I’d suggest going 100 meters down the road instead for a great experience, perhaps at a lower price.
