I went there to rest and fill up my diesel tank, but the fuel stations don't work in winter, even though they seem to be open. The other services were excellent, though. I loved staying there!

There’s a friendly community feel here, and the staff are super welcoming. The restaurant serves really tasty food, and free parking is a big plus. It’s a handy stop for cyclists because a bike trail runs nearby, and you can also rent a small motorboat. Right by the water, it’s cozy and affordable, with simple, compact rooms that feel like ship cabins. They’re air-conditioned and comfortable. I love coming back regularly.

We picked Slovakia and the Danube because Italy was too far and we wanted to be surrounded by water. The location is fantastic, with the Danube all around, and the whole area is top-notch. The bike path from Passau to Budapest goes nearby. This mini hotel has five chicly arranged mini rooms, with free parking, white clean sheets, clean bathrooms, air conditioning and a quiet atmosphere. I thought the hotel might sway, but it doesn’t. There’s no table in the room, and I’d recommend bringing mosquito spray. The restaurant is chicly arranged, though the chairs are unstable, and breakfast was mediocre. There’s a playground for children, and the staff are friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back.

We had a lovely meal at this laid-back restaurant, with friendly service and a great view. The fish soup was excellent. It came to less than 60 euros for two, including a glass of wine each.

The view was beautiful and the atmosphere pretty good. I enjoyed the coffee too. The food was good apart from the roasted potatoes, which were overcooked.
