The private garden is beautiful, with a little stream where you can relax, barbecue, or let kids play. The hall inside is nicely decorated too. There are only eight rooms, so it’s peaceful if your neighbors are quiet. My partner said the owner was kind and helpful, though I didn’t speak with her myself. I’d expected modern rooms and comfortable beds from the pictures and reviews, so the reality was disappointing. Our room, number 8, had furniture that felt 15-20 years old, and the mattress wasn’t comfortable. Even our 22-month-old’s small movements made the bed creak. There were carpets in two rooms, and either those or the furniture had a strong, particular smell. The host tried to cover it with room spray, but that scent bothered my sensitive nose too. Only the bathroom has been renovated; the rest feels like it’s from the 2000s. The price seems acceptable compared with other places, but I’d expected something different. Hope this helps someone. The building and garden have such lovely, cozy decor, and the host was really nice. We got a welcome drink, chocolate, and fruit for Christmas, thank you again! I hope we can come back soon. One thing to check before you arrive is whether the kitchen has what you need. We wished there had been a toaster and coffee machine, so next time we’ll bring ours.

The playground beside the stream was a highlight for our young kids. It’s a lovely spot for a short trip with family or friends.
