The rooms feel cozy, and the host was friendly. The lifts are very close, though the shop is quite a walk away. There are a couple of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The photos gave me the impression that the apartment was on the ground floor, and the offer I received also described it that way. Once I was there, I found out it was actually in a lowered basement, near the ski room. The ceiling is lower than you would expect in a hotel room or bedroom, and someone 192 cm tall could hit their head on a lamp. I couldn't find any notice about the low ceiling. Is offering rooms like this allowed under building regulations? There is another apartment on the ground floor, as well as one in the attic or loft, but the one for four people is the basement one.

We stayed on the middle level of the house, which has three floors. It was clean and spacious, with the slopes very close by and a ski room available. The owner was lovely and friendly. I'd recommend it.

We had a lovely summer break in the apartment and enjoyed our time in the Tatras, even with the difficult covid situation. The staff helped make it a good vacation. Everything was fine, and I'd recommend it to everyone.
