Chata Bajana

We arrived to find the owner had given us a bigger family apartment for free because it was available, which was a really lovely gesture. It was spotless, with a large kitchen and everything we could need: microwave, oven, dishwasher, cooker, and more. The second room had a double bed and bunk beds, and the bathroom included a shower, hairdryer, and heated floor. There were flat screens in both rooms, plus a fireplace and a children’s corner with toys and books. The apartment is on the first floor at one side, with a balcony, and ground level on the other, where it has a view and direct access to the ski slope. There’s also a ski room, private parking, and an outdoor seating area with a fireplace for summer evenings.

We were right on the slope, just perfect 👍⛷ The apartment was cozy, clean, and nice, and the people were lovely.

The area was quiet and peaceful, with a stream nearby, and the owner was polite, friendly, spoke Polish, and was always ready to help. We had a very pleasant, active six days in January 2026 in a ground-floor family apartment for five. Our family of 2+2 was happy there. The slope is 50 meters behind the house, then it’s 200 meters downhill to the Lúčky chairlift. From the balcony you can see the Lúčky ski lift and tell whether the chairs are running, as well as look out to Chopok. Inside there’s a large living room with a practical kitchenette, another large bedroom, a big hallway, bathroom, toilet, and balcony. It has everything you need, including parking in front of the house. This is somewhere we’d like to visit again. Warm regards, and highly recommend 🙂👍

A nicely furnished cottage that works well for summer trips or skiing, and can comfortably suit larger groups, like 2-3 families with children. The owner was helpful and pleasant. We recommend it!
