You can ski straight down from the main entrance, so there’s no need to walk or drive around. Parking was easy, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The renovated kitchen and food were excellent, with lots of variety for everyone. The rooms and corridors are quiet, and the corridors are quite large. Everyone was friendly. Some facilities are shared, as the description says, but they’re clean and well maintained. Great value for money.

We stayed at Dom Horskej Služby – Jasná the night before the Od Tatier k Dunaju race as part of our race team. The location is right in nature but still near Jasná, and parking was convenient. After a long day, the hot showers were much appreciated, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I slept like a baby. My coworker and I even slept in the Herna (kids’ playroom), which gave the simple but comfortable stay a funny, memorable twist.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so we could either cook at Horska or eat out. The rooms were clean, recently renovated, and had everything we needed. But the main advantage is the location: we could put on our skis at home and go straight onto the ski track, without having to hunt for parking, which is difficult in the area. We had a lovely family holiday and would heartily recommend it.
