The spa was the one bright spot. The rest of the hotel felt old and badly in need of renovation, and my stay was overshadowed by missing valuables. During my two nights there, three rings and cash disappeared from my backpack in the room. That’s absolutely unacceptable. I had told the cleaning lady on the first day that we didn’t need housekeeping and asked her not to come in. The room wasn’t cleaned and nothing was replaced, just as I’d requested, so I don’t understand why anyone would have needed to enter. The hotel said staff only came in to do their jobs and pointed out that there was a safe at reception, where I should have left my valuables. That response shocked me. Future guests should be very careful.

The food was good, and free parking was a plus. Still, the hotel and rooms are old, and the price seems to be for the location near the lift. You have to pay extra for drinking water and dinner drinks, even tea. In my opinion, being close to the lift alone doesn’t make it worth the cost. You can find better or cheaper places.

The spa is lovely and the location is great, but the room was filthy and in rough shape. There was dust everywhere, someone else’s hair on the floor and in the bathtub, a cracked sink, and a broken toilet seat. The hotel itself is very dated. The food was okay, though there wasn’t much choice and the quality wasn’t anything special. The woman running the restaurant was also very rude.

Breakfast and dinner were good, apart from the very basic cakes. The spa is nicely designed and has what you need, and the location is excellent: the evening ski slope is right outside the property. The rooms, reception area, and reception toilet could all use renovation. You can hear everything in the corridors through the doors. It’s a bit expensive. The spa should be included in the room price, or prices should come down by 10%.
