We’ve made this our Friday evening routine since moving to Devin, and we’re still working our way through the menu. The place is tucked away from the usual tourist route, but it’s well worth finding. We’ve never left disappointed: there are local specialties, an adventurous menu, and European favorites, all prepared and served beautifully. It’s cozy inside, too, and every server we’ve had has been friendly and capable. We’ll be back tomorrow!

The portions were quite generous, the service was good, and the beer was great. The food was fine, too, but charging €2.10 for a tiny pot of ketchup after we asked for some was ridiculous.

I had the farmers dumplings, one of the best meals I ate while I was in Slovakia. The outdoor area is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service was good. From what I could tell, it’s a slightly cheaper and much better experience than the places by the castle. Definitely go here instead.

The meal and beer were good, but the toilets were small and dirty. That inside door was terribly messy. If it’s left like that, how can I trust the kitchen is any different?

There were ten of us, and we all had a really delicious meal after our tour at Devín Castle. We barely had to wait for our orders, and both the main courses and desserts were 10/10. The restaurant is very close to the castle, so I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great lunch after a visit.
