The garlic soup served in bread was a particularly generous portion, and the food was delicious. Apali restaurant is also very clean, with comfortable chairs and very polite staff. It’s in a quiet part of Komarno, near a small lake that makes a beautiful spot for an afternoon walk. I love this place. Thanks again.

They have a good range of Slovak dishes, daily specials, and food for kids. There’s a decent enclosed play area and quite a few covered outdoor seats, so it’s a good place to go. I’m only taking off a star because I hate that you can’t pay by card.

Whether you spend very little or go all out, you can have a great time here. It works well for a family visit, with a play area for the little ones, and it’s also a fun place to meet friends. The food is outstanding, there’s pretty much anything you might fancy, and the staff are happy to help with everything.

The main drawback for me was the chairs inside. They’re comfortable, but too low for the tables. Still, this is a great place for family events with kids, with seating indoors and outside and a large playground. The food is among the better examples of classic local cuisine, and the halászlé was first class.

The staff are amazing, and the food is really delicious. It’s a very clean, tidy place with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
