The staff were kind and did their best to help, and breakfast was okay, though there wasn't much for vegetarians. The location is excellent, just two minutes from the historic center. My room, though, was old and poorly maintained. The foam mattress on a wooden base looked rough, but I slept all right. There wasn't proper ventilation, the room smelled, and the bathroom had nowhere to set my things.

The location was the only thing I can praise. The rooms weren't clean enough, and ours was at the end of a gloomy corridor with no windows. The whole place had a bad atmosphere. We booked for two families, eight people in all, but they could or would only fit seven. If you're visiting Kassa, I'm sure you can find somewhere better.

The polite, respectful receptionist was the one good part. I stayed four days, and nothing felt clean, including the towels. The Wi-Fi didn't work, the windows wouldn't open, and the AC made a strange noise every couple of minutes, so sleeping was hard. Doors could jam from the inside, and sometimes the key had to be changed. This doesn't feel like a hotel. One star is more than enough. Don't spend your money here when there are plenty of better options.

We got a great price, and the hotel was nice. The city fruit and vegetable market is right across the street, and the historic center is about a five-minute walk away. Some receptionists didn't speak much English, which made it hard to ask for supplies to be replenished or for an iron in the room.

Nice reception and a pleasant place. The room had a TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and the bathroom was tidy.
