Villa Terrasse charged my card the full price even though I’d cancelled the room and emailed the hotel about it. I understand that a cancellation fee might apply, but keeping the whole amount after I contacted them in time felt unreasonable. I got no confirmation or explanation, and my message seemed to be ignored. I followed the cancellation process, so the lack of any response felt unfair and unprofessional. I expected better communication and customer care. I hope management takes this seriously and improves how cancellations and refunds are handled, since guests shouldn’t have to deal with this.

The walk into the city centre takes a while, but it’s a lovely route along the main street if you don’t mind the distance. A Bolt is another option and costs only 4-5€. The place itself was one of the most unusual accommodations I’ve stayed in. The details and mix of elements give it a lot of charm. The host was lovely, though we did have a bit of a language barrier. If you don’t speak Slovak, I’d confirm practical details in writing, especially times, to avoid confusion.

We slept so well here. The bed was really comfortable, the sheets smelled like home, and it was very quiet. The owner was such a lovely man, he treated us like good friends and took care of everything. The interior is wonderful and every part of the place feels unique. Just amazing, a real gem. I love it, and we’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others.

The room was spacious, spotless, and decorated just right. The owner welcomed us warmly, and the hosts made sure we had what we needed. We had an early flight, so they even got breakfast ready the night before. We had a wonderful stay at Vila Terrasse and would happily return next time we’re in Kosice. Highly recommend it.

The hosts were really kind, and breakfast was good. Our room was clean and the bed cozy. The slightly wild rustic-maximalist decor has a lot of charm.
