The balcony rooms on the first floor have a great view of the High Tatras, and the table is big enough for 6-8 people. The beds have comfortable mattresses, and the bathroom has plenty of space. In the evening, the friendly staff brought Gambrinus Excellent beer out to our balcony, a tap beer that's hard to find. Breakfast was fresh, with excellent spicy sausages and perfectly cooked eggs. We didn't try the rest of the restaurant food. It got quite hot in the rooms and in the bar area of the lodge, since neither has air conditioning. The Wi-Fi connection was very poor.

Just to be clear, I'm reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. I regret choosing it for lunch. In my opinion, the food quality was really low, and I suspect they use powdered or semi-finished ingredients. The waitress seemed inexperienced and didn't know how to handle customers or provide service. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. That doesn't mean the accommodation is bad too.

We were driving home to Romania after visiting Jasna and wanted somewhere to eat along the way, so we found this place on Google Maps because it was close to the highway. What a nice surprise: the food was very good, came out quickly, and was really cheap. Congratulations to the Chef !!!

The hostel was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a convenient place to stay, about 10 km from the parking lot for Slovak Paradise.
