The waitresses were very friendly, and the food was good for the price. But the beer costs an outrageous amount. Our “suite” was old and battered, with torn wall-to-wall carpet and a broken curtain, yet it was still expensive, apparently because it's in the Tatras. The receptionist wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and only said “thank you” or “please” if you made a show of saying it first. All in all, I'm sorry to say it was far too expensive for what it was, just because of the location. There's also a shooting range nearby, so avoid it if you have pets that get scared.

The food is very good, and the staff are too. Still, the price feels high for what you get, and portions are small. If you're not very hungry, it's perfect. If you are, go somewhere else.

This is a family-run restaurant with fairly priced meals and basic accommodation. It gets quite full in winter, since it's the closest place to stay to Opalisko skiing resort.
