Sporthotel Victoria

The food is top notch, and the customer service was excellent, probably thanks to Ms. Kelnerova and Mr. Grieger. It's a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings, and I'm definitely coming back for more!

There was plenty to do in the hotel and nearby, and we could always book things like bowling or billiards. The food was truly good, with lots of Slovak traditional dishes and enough choice for everyone. The staff were helpful and the hotel was very clean. We found the wellness area a bit small, though it was fine for a three-day stay. The showers there were extremely cold, and the jacuzzi barely worked. Nobody seemed to care about that. The non-working hunting game was a small disappointment for my family, since we'd been looking forward to it, but I guess they'll fix it soon.

The restaurant was good, the food great, and the staff were nice. We visited the wellness center rather than staying at the hotel. It has Finnish, herbal, and infrared saunas, with enough capacity that they probably won't get crowded. Visitors can get water and fruit there. The main issue was the noise, including children jumping into the pool even though it wasn't allowed. The employees ignored it.

We came as a family of five and only needed somewhere for one night, but it would have been a good place to stay for a few days. There's a lot to do, including a spa, swimming pool, tennis, squash, bowling, and more, plus the hotel has its own microbrewery. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the restaurant was much better than we expected. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Staff were always helpful and made this a stay to remember. It'd also work well as a base for exploring the hills and forests nearby. Coming from the London area, we thought the prices were unbelievably good value.
