The room was okay, and the hotel itself is pleasant, close to shops and restaurants. But during our one-night stay there was an outdoor party at the hotel, and we couldn't sleep until 4 a.m. We'd had a tiring day in the mountains and still had the whole trip home to the CR ahead of us. The receptionist couldn't stop the party or move us to a quieter room. We called the police, but they said the party had a permit and was legal. If you're thinking of staying here, check whether a party is planned. If there is one, stay well away unless you want to join in. Knowing what we'd face, I'd have rather slept in a tent.

The restaurant gets five stars from me. It's been rebuilt, the food is good, and it's open for long hours. The rooms are old but inexpensive, and should be renovated soon. That would make the place even better. The Wi-Fi had some issues. I'd give the rooms three stars.

That OssoBuco from the kitchen was fabulous 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The staff were perfect too. A great spot for any kind of event.
