Hotel Eufã³Ria

Beautiful setting, good service and tasty food, plus a great price and location overall. The bathroom was the one problem. The tub and shower ceiling is very low. I'm petite, but my friend is 6'2 and could barely stand to use the toilet, let alone shower. It's just not suited to tall guests.

The location is the main advantage, especially if you're driving. Tatra hiking trails are about a 10-minute drive away. The rooms were clean but very basic, without a fridge or kitchenette, and the sound insulation was poor enough that we could hear other guests walking around. The staff didn't seem welcoming or friendly. Meals are offered in the cafeteria, but felt overpriced for what you get. We spent most of our time outside because staying at the hotel wasn't that pleasant.

We enjoyed the mountain views, the really nice staff, and the tasty buffet breakfast and dinner. There's also a playroom for bad weather or longer evenings. It's a lot of enjoyment for less money. One useful addition would be a shared fridge or a small one in the room, so guests could keep snacks for hikes.

The room was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast and buffet dinner were decent. Prices were great too, and I was really pleased with the stay. If you want a change, Koliba restaurant is 50 m from the hotel. The nearest train stop is a bit far, though, with no sidewalk along the way, so you'll need your own wheels. Highly recommend.
