We ate well without having to leave the hotel: the attached restaurant connects indoors, and its menu is huge with tasty food. Coffee and cake are included too, and that spot is also linked internally. Breakfast had lots of choice. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of warm heaters for drying things. The furniture isn't new, but it does the job. Staff are very nice and helpful, including with information about Vysoke Tatry. There's also a pool and sauna, booked for a specific time, which was no trouble. For a three-star place, it was very good. Highly recommend.

Skip the hotel's "Buffet"/Fast Food Restaurant. The food felt like scraps of meat and mostly water in every soup or dish, yet the prices were like Grand hotel. To me, this wasn't a proper meal, just food waste stretched with water.

The old interior is the one drawback, though the rooms were clean. We found the service very pleasant, from the lovely woman at reception to the other helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast and one other meal were included, along with access to the pool and sauna, so it was good value for the price.

We like skiing in Slovakia, and this hotel worked well for our winter stay. The price seemed fair for what they offer. I'd recommend it.

The town has a really aesthetic feel, and this is a lovely place to stop for tea and pastry. There was live music during my visit.
