We stayed for seven days in a heatwave, with temperatures above 30°C (86°F), but the apartment stayed pleasantly cool. It’s in a renovated, insulated building with thick walls and windows facing northwest. The place was very well kept and incredibly clean, with quality furniture and all the kitchenware we needed. There’s also a clothes dryer, handy for hikers and sports lovers, and insect screens on the windows. The TV and internet worked perfectly. We used the brochure of nearby sights and the Tatra Mountains map with trails, peaks, and mountain huts marked on it. It was a great base for mountain trips, right beside the blue hiking trail. The nearest grocery shop in the city center is a few hundred meters away, and there are restaurants nearby, the closest about 100 meters away.

Quiet nights away from the main road, and coffee with a view of the Lomnicy shield. The apartment is tastefully furnished with quality materials. We were very satisfied.
