I was very satisfied with my stay here a while back. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was generous. If you're staying in Tatranska Lomnica, I'd definitely recommend Penzión Slalom.

The real highlight was the woman at reception. Her sense of humor was great, and she seemed able to handle anything, even checking us in remotely at midnight. The pension itself is fine, with simple, cozy rooms and a priceless view of Lomnica. It's right by the railway station (elektriczka), and there's private parking. Downstairs, the restaurant serves good pizza and beer, and the staff were great. Greetings from Poland. PS. We didn't take a bus to Lomnica peak 😁😁😁

The breakfast was the part I was unhappy with. My girlfriend and I stayed here as a gift from her mom, who also paid for breakfast for all three days. I didn't realize it was 13€ per person. After trying it, I honestly thought it was included because the quality was so low: sunny-side-up eggs, hot dogs, salami, and watered-down orange juice. We could have walked 50 meters and gotten a proper breakfast for less. Unless you've got lots of money, don't pay for breakfast.

Good value for a nice, clean hotel within walking distance of the ski centre. Parking and WiFi are free. If you're coming from England, bring a travel kettle, since I don't think many hotels in Europe provide one.

It's a pretty place in a central spot, warm and pleasant, and good value. The room was a little spartan in its furnishings, but that was fine. The staff were doing their best. I'd definitely stay here again if I were back in the area.
