Coming back after 22 years was so nice. My family and I felt at home in this comfortable hotel, and we had a lovely view from our room. The owner made sure we had everything we needed, and I was glad to get to know him. There’s a Coop supermarket and a bus station very close by. I’ll definitely return. Thank you!

The room was clean and okay for a stopover, with an opening window and a view of the Jánošík statue. The electricity only works when you put the key into a special slot in the room and turn it. Downstairs and around reception felt dated, dark and depressing, with no lively or cozy atmosphere. In the middle of the night, some drunk people sang and shouted in the hotel car park for about an hour, and nobody did anything. The room costs far too much for what you get.

The good things were friendly staff and a central location. It’s also a starting point for the local road-ready train on wheels, which families can use. But the refurbishment seems to have gone badly. The mattress was really poor, there was no toilet paper in the toilets outside the rooms, the towel dryer was broken, and the toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. Cakes at the bar were frozen, and there was no pool despite it being advertised.

We were comfortable throughout our stay in this clean, nice hotel. The staff were always attentive and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We’re looking forward to coming back soon.
