A rude, impersonal place to sleep, and the check-in was the most frustrating I've had in a long time. It took over an hour because they held back the access codes. There's a handful of rooms beside a prison hospital, surrounded by a high barbed-wire fence. Parking costs 20 Euro per night, which feels like extortion. They seem to have nothing but contempt for their customers.

It took us 30 minutes just to check in. The passcode knob was almost impossible to see, and opening it took a bit of skill, turning right or left at just the right moment. The apartment code they gave us was flat-out wrong. You have to repeat this at three doors, the gate, the entrance, and the apartment. Is this self check-in or an escape room? Parking is another 15 euro a night. Is this central Rome?

The room wasn't cleaned well, and the bedding wasn't fully clean either, even though we waited until the check-in time listed on the website. The hotel's complimentary item was missing too, despite being shown on the website. We couldn't change our check-in time, and the codes arrived late, causing problems when we tried to get in. When we called, the staff member seemed amused that we still hadn't received them. There's also a barbed-wire-fenced area nearby.

Handy for a longer stay since there's a kitchen, though it has limited equipment. No microwave.
