There’s a good range of pizza and pasta, along with salads and other sides, and the prices are reasonable. In spring and summer you can sit on the terrace. Make a reservation, though, because it can get crowded. The restaurant is around 5 minutes from the city center, in a building with Italian-style architecture and an airy Italian-style interior. Service is great, and meals take about 20-30 minutes to prepare. The pizza is delicious and tastes like it came straight from Italy. It may be one of the best restaurants in Trenčín, so it’s definitely worth a visit.

The pizza and pasta are good, and it’s a nice restaurant. I went on a Monday and the server didn’t speak English. That’s not a problem, but visitors who don’t speak Slovak may want to know.

The Insalata Vesuvio salad was really delicious. Great food here, and I recommend the pizzas too. Don’t miss it! 🥗🍕

We stopped for one night while passing through, and the food was a hit with my family. The waiters were so friendly and made us feel at home. The pension has a traditional Italian style, is clean, and has modern bathrooms. There’s also a small play corner outside, which kept the children entertained while we had dinner. Thanks for everything!

Even though I live outside SK now and don’t often get the chance to sit down for a proper dinner, I still make sure to get Giacomo food when I’m back. For a sleepover movie night with my kids and their friends, we order and pick up Luigi's pizza. The staff are accommodating, even with my request for an extra extra XXL portion of mushrooms, which isn’t on the regular Menü. 😂 I’ve been a Giacomo customer for maybe over 20 years, and I still like their local pizza best. Luigi is the best owner ever. You can see him checking on quality around the tables, and even shopping in local stores for the best veggies to make his customers happy. I’m not easy to impress, especially with Italian cuisine, since I feel people tend to overrate anything sold as “italian.” Still, I stand by my humble opinion here. 😁
