We stayed at Penzion Holiday for the IPA maintenance conference in Trnava, my coworker and me. It worked out well for our work trip. Our room was spacious and very clean, and being able to check in late was a big help since we arrived after 22:00. It was quiet enough for me to prepare my presentation without distractions. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, though that may just be personal preference. The other small issue was the shower, which took around 5-10 minutes for the water to get hot.

The location is AMAZING, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a small private place, with clean rooms and basic equipment. The beds could use more comfortable mattresses, and the walls are thin, so you hear A LOT from the neighbours. When I booked, breakfast wasn’t included and was priced at 5€, but there I was told it cost 10€ and was served in a different building. For the price, it was MUCH MORE than I expected. I’d recommend the place and would use it again.

The rooms are nice and the staff are kind, but someone there has a parrot and listening to it all day was kind of annoying. Breakfast isn’t served on weekends, for whatever reason. Also, our room didn’t have AC, even though the internet listing said it would.

Good service from friendly staff, and the location felt secure and was excellent. There are parking spaces close by, but you have to pay on weekdays. I’d recommend it for a short weekend visit.
