The restaurant serves very good food, and the city center is only a five-minute walk away. Our room was nice and clean, with a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, and a big shower. It was very quiet, and breakfast was very good too. Just keep in mind there’s no lift, so ask for a ground-floor room if stairs are a problem.

The location was the one good thing about this hotel. During our seven-day stay, the sheets were never changed and we never got fresh towels. My friend had an injured foot and needed to keep it raised in bed one morning, so I brought her some food and coffee. The next day at breakfast, the owner yelled at me in front of the other guests for taking a plate to the room, like I was a child. We also brought our coffee cups to the kitchen to swap for clean ones and were told to wash them ourselves in our room. The service was absolutely awful. I wouldn’t send my dog here.

It was wildly overpriced for the quality and service, and I can't recommend it. I was first given a basement room with its window almost at ground level. In the second room, the AC didn't work and it was like a sauna. The AC worked in the third, but you couldn't open the window at all. Service was terrible too: after going for a walk, I came back at 9 pm and couldn't get into my room because the whole hotel was closed. I had to wait for someone to let me in.

I booked four rooms for two nights, but when we arrived they demanded more than the amount confirmed in my booking. I showed them the confirmation email with the total, and they still insisted on charging more. The staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. There are much better places to stay in Trnava. Don't go here.
