The staff were very friendly, and there’s free parking, a games room, and a breakfast room. Our room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and duvet and a good bathroom. It’s also close to several trails and places to see, making it an excellent base in the Tatra. I highly recommend it!

If you have a car, this is a good place to stay, though it may feel a bit far out without one. The accommodation is in the forest, not very close to any village, and the nearest restaurant is about 1.5 km away. There’s a bar inside, but during our midweek stay it was already closed when we returned from dinner around 8:30. The views of Lomnicky Stit and the Tatra mountains are lovely. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the next train station, where you can catch the local tourist train between Strbske Pleso, Stary Smokovec, and Tatranska Lomnice.
