Penzión Lesna

Some of our requests were a bit unusual, but the staff always tried to make us happy. Hungry late at night? They’d bring us food. Want to sit in the backyard with a beer and enjoy nature? They’d bring a cold one. We could even get service in our room. The breakfast was super, with lots of options and as much as you could eat. Honestly, it was one of the best service experiences I’ve had.

The mountain and forest views are lovely, and the rooms are kept tidy. Breakfast has enough choice, though I’d especially recommend ordering dinner because the local food is fantastic. The sauna is nice but small. With friendly hosts and affordable prices, the pension feels well worth the money.

After hiking in the Tatra mountains with friends, Penzion Lesna was a great place to come back to. The rooms were nice and breakfast was good, and it’s close to the train station. What really stood out was the service and flexibility: I lost my earrings, and they even sent them to my home abroad. I’m very grateful, and I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

I spent three nights at this small hotel. It’s right by the road and has a fairly small parking lot, but it’s very well placed for setting off on mountain trips.
