Apartmán Hrebienok

We booked mainly for the advertised outdoor pool, but when we arrived it wasn't available. The Booking page hadn't mentioned this. It was difficult to sort out with the staff because their English was poor. They eventually admitted the pool wasn't heated and wouldn't be ready until June 13th, something else we hadn't been told before booking. After an uncomfortable argument, they reluctantly offered a free one-hour spa session. They said it was a “lot of work for them” and that they would need to charge it through the booking system. That felt like a hassle, not a goodwill gesture, which wasn't acceptable for a hotel that already costs a lot. Nearly every facility also came with an extra fee, giving the impression they cared more about upselling than offering a quality stay. For the price and what was promised online, the stay wasn't worth it. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it or come back.

The apartments are modern and very nice inside, and the location is great, with shops and restaurants close by. Staff were helpful, and it's a good choice for a short stay. The wellness felt a little overpriced. It could also get noisy if you have a neighbor in the next room.

Our independent rental unit in the resort was perfect. The hotel itself was a different story: the staff were remarkably unfriendly and unhelpful. Their English wasn't good, and instead of saying so, they misled us. The spa was one of the main reasons we picked the resort. We arrived in the evening, and I went straight to reception to book for the following day. A tired-looking lady assured me, "You don't need a reservation, just come!" So I showed up in a swimsuit, carrying a towel and wearing flip-flops, at the mountain resort's main entrance. That's where I was told a reservation was required and the spa was full. I could come the next day, but we were leaving, or go to another hotel. No apology or explanation.

My apartment was amazing and had everything. It was perfect for my family of four adults. There were two separate bedrooms and a very large living room with a kitchen. Netflix on the TV was nice for relaxing at night. The resort is right in the center, with lots of bars and restaurants for the evening. There's a grocery shop if you want to put together an early breakfast before heading out, or you can have breakfast at the resort from 7:00 or 7:30. Perfect place, with all services. I'd definitely recommend it and have added it to my favorites.
