Meals are good, and the cost is low. The rooms are nice and have a kitchen. There's a sauna and billiards. The Wi-Fi was unusable, and there was no DVB-S.

We spent a wonderful week at Penzión Jánošík, and we'll be back. The care throughout our stay was excellent, and Danka in the kitchen made a big difference. She cooked with so much care, kindness, and skill that we looked forward to every meal. She also paid attention to the little things, adapted to what guests needed, and did it all with a smile. Lunch and dinner were honest, homemade, and delicious, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Every meal felt like it had a soul, the sort of food that warms you up, fills you, and makes you feel at home. If good food is part of what you're looking for in a guesthouse, Penzión Jánošík is a great choice. With Danka in the kitchen, you'll leave relaxed and thoroughly spoiled by the food. Thank you for a lovely week and such wonderful care.

The first impression was terrible. Since then, though, the food has been absolutely great and the staff very nice. The rooms were dirty, but as a guesthouse it was very good.
