Židar is an idyllic, picturesque village and a great base for exploring the high tatras. We really enjoyed our visit. We felt so at home at Martha and Jozef’s place that we stayed an extra night. We booked by phone just 3 minutes before arriving, and it was all very easy. The place is very clean, comfortable, and well equipped, including the kitchen. We spoke with Martha in German. Thank you!

The owners are so pleasant and look after you like family. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well equipped, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. We’re grateful for their great care and hospitality, especially as we had to move our stay because of illness. We definitely recommend it!
