The friendly, clean setting and typical wooden decor made a nice impression on me. The soup and the second course were both good too. Koliba Josu was a very pleasant surprise, and I’ll visit again next time.

We didn’t stay at the pension, so I can’t comment on it, but the food was amazing. The Oravský Halušky was delicious, and it was probably among the best halušky I’ve had in this country. The slanina was cooked perfectly and practically melted in my mouth. The staff were great as well, always polite and smiling.

The view from the hotel was incredible, and I liked the balcony. Breakfast was simple but fine, and the other parts of the room were okay, though I did find bugs in it. Staff didn’t speak English, which made it harder to get answers. The bar and bowling also closed really early.

We had a great steak, nice and tender, and the portions were quite large. The food was amazing, the prices very reasonable, and the atmosphere felt typically Slovak. I highly recommend the restaurant.

We stayed in Cottage #3, which can easily sleep 10 people. It had a rustic look we liked, everything seemed new, and all the beds were comfortable with matching blankets and pillows. Breakfast was included, and we had unlimited use of the swimming pool and whirlpool. The restaurant Koliba was the highlight for me, every meal we tried tasted great. I thought the prices were reasonable.
