Hotel Crocenzi

The staff were sweet and looked after me when I checked in late. Breakfast was excellent and included, and the stay was great value. Such a good experience!

The view out front takes in San Marino’s castles, while from the back you can see Rimini and the ocean. Hotel Crocenzi has a spacious, clean room and a receptionist who was especially kind and helpful. Breakfast was decent, with the basics and fresh orange juice. There’s a bus stop for buses to and from Rimini right outside. The cable car is about one km away, though the walk there is uphill. We had a great stay and I recommend it.

A quiet area, clean bathrooms, and free parking right in front of the hotel. The rooms are good and have balconies.

There’s everything needed in the room, even though some of the facilities are a little old. Whether you get a city view depends on the room. The young woman at reception was the only friendly person I met. The older staff were unfriendly, especially the man who didn’t even say hello. When I arrived around lunchtime, the older woman didn’t explain that the blue card gives discounts at San Marino city sites. Reception also closes at a certain time in the evening, and checkout at 10.30am feels very early. Breakfast is typical Italian fare, but when the cheese and salami run out, staff sometimes take 15-20 minutes to replenish them.
