The restaurant keeps its menu short, but the food is good. Staff were helpful, and the pool is lovely and free for hotel guests. The spa needs to be booked ahead. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a large, well-equipped bathroom. The historic centre of San Marino is about 5-6 km away.

I wouldn't stay here again, even if it were free. The room itself was in reasonable shape, but the rest of the hotel was in terrible condition. Corridors were dirty and stained, with paint peeling off. Street noise made it impossible to sleep, and there was no way to adjust the room temperature. I asked for a fan, but they couldn't provide one.

The room was over 24° and we barely slept because the air conditioning wasn't working. When I asked at the front desk in the morning, the woman laughed and said they'd disabled it so guests wouldn't get cold. Thanks for the short night's sleep!

Buses for Rimini Station leave from across the street every hour from 7.30 AM, and the fare is 3-4 Euros. A taxi for a three-hour visit to the historic city centre, about 5 km away, costs around 75 Euros. The hotel is on the main road in Seravalle, toward San Marino City Centre, in a quiet area and close to Rimini. The only thing I missed was a coffee shop open 24 hours. Our basic double room was spacious and comfortable, with a small adjoining courtyard, work table, large wardrobe, electronic safe and minibar. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fruit, juice, tea and coffee, cereal, toast, yoghurt, croissants and biscuits. Cleopatra Room can seat 225-250 people for conferences, with a large ante-room for registration and networking. There's free wifi in the rooms, plus a computer and printer in the lobby.

The pool could use more investment, which is why I gave the hotel four stars. The location is great, and the staff were super friendly.
