Baba Tandian, the manager, was humble, friendly, and patient throughout our stay. He treated us with real respect and was always ready to help, whether with local advice or by connecting us to resources we might need. I arrived with my team, and the whole staff made us feel welcome with warm, attentive, professional service. That care made the stay feel comfortable and trustworthy, which is rare. A big shout-out to Baba and the team for their dedication and human touch. Hotel La Vallée exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bakel.

We stayed at Villa la Vallée during a training course, and the services were excellent. Thanks to all the staff. It’s a magnificent hotel in the beautiful Senegalese city of Bakel, on the Mauritanian border. We highly recommend it.

The service was really good, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed in Bakel while touring Senegal. The town gets overlooked by tourists, but going a little off the beaten path is well worth it. The hotel is next to a fire station, where they hold drills now and then. They weren’t too noisy, and it was actually funny to watch and listen. We ran down to the “beach” and the locals greeted us. It was refreshing not to have people asking us for money for once.
