We drove nine hours from Nouakchott with my wife and two kids, only to be told on arrival to cancel our Expedia booking and pay $109 per night instead of the $38 usd we'd booked. Don't waste your time or effort on this shady business. Please avoid getting scammed.

I booked one double room through booking.com, but when I arrived at 2am in the middle of the night, they said the room cost about 35% more and pressured me to pay. They're cheaters!

The hotel is much worse than its online photos suggest, and the overcharge feels unjustified. Noise made it impossible to get proper rest. Breakfast was a mess, with little choice, poor quality, and no organization. The staff seemed unprofessional and inconsiderate. Even the remote controls had no batteries. The shower was awful, with old toilets and outdated, poorly maintained fixtures. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like a worn out mattress. Mediocre service, faulty facilities, misleading photos, and poor value for money. I strongly advise against staying here.

The property is in a deplorable state. The manager is acting dishonestly and unprofessionally. The air conditioners don't work, the place is filthy, and the security guards are extremely disciplinary. This is unacceptable and needs urgent attention.
