I had to spend a few extra days in Senegal while sorting out the airport paperwork for my motorcycle, and I stayed at Chez Agnes. They made me feel very welcome. When I was flying to Europe, some outstanding payments for the motorcycle caused an issue, and the owner Ben went out of his way to help me. It’s in a lively part of Dakar with a local feel, and I really enjoyed my stay. I’ll come back, inshallah. Many thanks, and I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated. Better mosquito screens on the windows would help. It’s good value and in a great neighbourhood, with lots of places to eat and drink both day and night. One favor: I haven’t been able to reach them on Whatsapp to send a photo of Dadj Diallo. If you see him at Chez Agnes, please share the photo I attached and say thank you!

The staff are very kind, and the place was clean overall. It’s good value for money, and the restaurant is okay and serves beer. The rooms could use some improvements: there’s no mosquito net over the bed, the bathroom window is broken, and the air conditioner is broken too.

The staff were really helpful, and I really wanted to like the place. But the facilities badly need updating. The bed creaked and the linen was slippery, there was no shower or hot water, and breakfast was a joke.

Good, inexpensive stay in Dakar for the price. They also had a small enclosed yard where we could keep the motorcycles.
