There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance, and you can get to the downtown area by taxi app, though it’s a bit far. The apartments are okay and cleaned daily. When something went wrong or we couldn’t find the place at first, service was pretty quick. I had a decent stay, and it works if you just need a comfortable, no-frills place to crash. The stairs are a lot, especially with luggage or when going in and out every day. A nice man helped carry our bags up when we arrived. The building is across from a mosque, so the prayer calls start early and happen at different times during the day. I enjoyed them, but they might wake light sleepers before they’re ready. For US customers, don’t bring a surge protector strip, as it’ll cut the apartment’s power even with a converter.
