The surroundings on Ngor Island were beautiful from the moment we arrived. At Studio Petit Marrakech, the villa felt warm and welcoming, with decor and furnishings that brought together modern comfort and Senegalese character. It was a magical stay.

The place felt distinctive, and the team were exceptionally kind. There was Western-style comfort, including air conditioning, and the boat they provided made it easy to tour the island. Matar even made us a mojito in the jacuzzi, which was a lovely touch. Our studio was roomy and beautifully furnished, with comfortable bedding and spotless cleanliness. It was quiet, tucked away on a cul-de-sac in a pleasant residential area. Breakfast was complete and superb, with exotic fruit. The staff were attentive and quick to respond.

The outdoor kitchen and fantastic decor made for a great evening in the studio. The air conditioning was essential, and we were treated to a planter's punch in the jacuzzi. Thanks for the boat trip too. We'll come back!

We were warmly welcomed with a drink, and the service felt professional. It's been a long while since we'd found a place this fabulous on the island. The Moroccan-African decor gave the studio character, and we got good use out of the outdoor kitchen. Air conditioning was much appreciated. The shower water was incredibly hot, and the Wi-Fi worked better than it does in town. The owner's boat, with its own skipper, took us to the pier twice. We also picked something up from the art gallery right next to the studio. A wonderful weekend.

Michel is a wonderful host, and the prices are very competitive. Matar, Nima, Ndaw, and Mame Cheikh made our stay a joy. Four charming people were there to help, including someone to pilot the boat back to the mainland whenever it suited us. Colored birds added to the setting. The island is delightful, with a lush garden, lovely weather, a superb pool, and a relaxing jacuzzi. Studio Petit Marrakech really does feel like the ideal place. See you soon, friends, and a big thank you!
