The rooftop restaurant is a lovely spot for breakfast, with sunshine and a view over Dakar, and the staff are really friendly. It’s quiet here, close to shops, near the beach and center, and easy to reach a taxi. I’d read plenty of reviews before booking, and after staying in lots of places, this is the best one I’ve experienced. It deserves more than five stars. The place is even more comfortable than it looks in the photos, and so, so clean and secure. There’s plenty of space and all the basics you could need: hot water, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TVs, a kitchen, a big living room with dining table, fridge, microwave, cookware, dishes, spoons and a kettle. The stand-up shower isn’t large, but it’s enough to get washed. I’ll definitely stay here whenever I’m back in Dakar.

Peace and quiet, and a real chance to recharge, are what you’ll find here. The staff make you feel like family, and the host is so kind and truly cares about your comfort and stay. This is the best Villa in Senegal, and the most beautiful Villa on planet Earth. You’ll never want to leave.

Vila Soleil du Senegal made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. The rooms were spacious and great, the team was excellent, and the WiFi worked well. The owner miss. Ndeye Sall and the receptionist were genuinely glad to help whenever I needed it. They really care about their guests and the experience they have. I’m very happy I stayed here, and I highly recommend it. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality!
