For the price, I expected more. Our room was upstairs on the second floor, reached by a very narrow staircase that made carrying luggage impossible, though they did have a man help us with the bags. Inside there was only a bed, no desk or anything else. We weren't given towels, and the shower didn't work properly: the head had fallen to the floor, so you had to hold it, and there was no pressure or hot water. I'm on a birding tour in Senegal and we're booked here again on our way back to Dakar. I told my Guide I don't want to stay here again.

The beach is right outside the dining area, so that was a nice option since the pool didn't look particularly clean and nobody in our group used it. I brought a group of French teachers from the USA on an Immersion tour of Senegal, and everyone was happy with the location. The rooms had very good air conditioning and mosquito nets, and the daily three-course menu was good quality. For the price, this place is great. The staff and servers were all friendly and kind.

Just reviewing the restaurant: it has a great setting and views, a nice menu, and good food. The staff are constantly making noise on social media, though. They may need better supervision.

The food was only average, even though the menu is ambitious and has lots to choose from. What you actually get is fine, just not especially memorable. This is a review of the restaurant, which seems popular with tourists in the neighbourhood. The view is beautiful, and you can watch the sunset from your table. Service is very friendly and fairly competent, and prices are normal for a place with such a great seaside view in Sénégal.
